    WELCOME to Teamsters Local 97,Official Web Site.  Teamsters Local 97 Industrial and Allied Workers Union. Local 97 has received its charter from the International Brotherhood of Teamsters on March 3, 1959. We have been in the business of getting better terms for our members for over forty years.

Currently we represent over 10,000 members at over 100 locations throughout the state of New Jersey and with our charter, we have the jurisdiction to represent employees in many classifications identical to that of Joint Council #73. We have a very aggressive staff who is always looking for new members through our organizing efforts.
